Daisy McAuliffe: Jack Petchey Award Winner, October 2018

Daisy attends training and matches regularly, always with a smile, although life at home has been very difficult for the family.

Her Mum has recently finished treatment for brain cancer and Daisy has spent a lot of time looking after her young sister.

She went to Disneyland earlier this year to represent her school in a Netball Tournament. She played in the Year 11 team, although she herself is only in year 8.

Recently, she trialed for Mini Mavericks and was successful  in getting a place in their squad.

She also volunteers to help train the younger players at her school.
