Charlotte Barton: Jack Petchey Award Winner, October 2017

Charlotte joined Crosskeys approximately 11years ago. She has become a very talented player, and has a regular place in one of our County League teams.  In addition to her netball she has spent time working at a Homeless Shelter and serving meals in a Soup Kitchen.  Last year, she went to America and volunteered at a Wildlife Centre, helping to nurse baby birds, snapping turtles and sunburnt crocodiles, back to good health.  She has also been a County and Regional swimmer and a County Hockey player.  She is now at University, but returns regularly to train and play matches.

Georgia Leslie: Jack Petchey Award Winner, June 2017

Georgia is very enthusiastic, cheerful and chatty, a delight to have in the year 6 age group. She is very hard working and reliable, always attends training and matches.  She shows lots of potential and should have a great future with Crosskeys.

Freya D’Alberto: Jack Petchey Award Winner, May 2017

Freya joined Crosskeys four years ago and, through hard work and commitment, has developed into a very talented player, improving year by year.  She always gives 100% at training and in matches, listening to her coach to enable her to develop her game.  She is very friendly and is well liked among her peers, a credit to Crosskeys.

Emma Wacey: Jack Petchey Award Winner, April 2017

Emma is the youngest member of a very talented netball family.  Mum and two older sisters also play for Crosskeys.  Emma has been with us since she was eight years old and has always shown what an excellent player she is.  This season she has secured a place in our Herts 2 squad and has progressed enormously with her skills and knowledge.  Also this season Emma has taken an “Into Officiating” course to enable her to umpire matches.  Here too she is demonstrating good skills and is developing into a very good young umpire.  Emma always works hard during training sessions, she is a quiet, friendly girl who is a definite asset to our club in every way.

Kate Peacock: Jack Petchey Award Winner, March 2017

Kate has been with Crosskeys since Primary  School.  She is a skillful., reliable team member.  She also helps to coach the younger members of the club and assists with fund raising activities.  Kate is an excellent role model for other club players and is now  a Youth Representative on the Junior Club Committee

Katie Woodstock: Jack Petchey Award Winner, February 2017

Katie has been with Crosskeys for four years.  This season, in particular, she has worked very hard and her coaches have seen a marked improvement in her standard of play.  She has attended an “Into Officiating” course and is developing into a capable young Umpire.  She is a happy, popular and energetic member of the U16s squad.

Summer Wimbleton: Jack Petchey Award Winner, January 2017

Since joining Crosskeys, Summer’s standard of play has improved greatly and she has played an active part in helping other members to develop their game.  She is friendly and a dedicated member of her squad.  Her move from the Juniors to the Youth Section, should be a happy transistion!

Holly Shilston: Jack Petchey Award Winner, November 2016

Holly has been with Crosskeys, for approximately 6 years. In that time, she has progressed from a very good Youth player, to an outstanding Senior.  She is a great role model for younger members and extremely loyal to the Club.  While still at University, Holly would travel long distances to play for the East Region Squad.  She is a real character, very well liked and known for her kindness and humility.

Caitlin Best: Jack Petchey Award Winner, October 2016

Caitlin has been with the club for several years.  She is a very loyal member of the club, and although lacking in confidence at the start, she is now a regular team player.  She works very hard both at training and in matches, playing any position required. She is also very encouraging to her peers.

Lilly Southward: Jack Petchey Award Winner, September 2016

Lilly has been with the club for a few years now.  She is friendly, sociable and a pleasure to coach.

She is very reliable , trains hard, constantly improving her play.  She has a regular position in her year squad and is always available for matches, and will play in any position.
