On behalf of the Netball East Regional Management Board I would just like to say `Congratulations` on winning the Outstanding Club category at the England Netball Goalden Globe Awards on Thursday, it was an exceptional achievement and a real tribute to the Clubs outstanding contribution to Netball in Essex over many years. I know the Regional Panel were very impressed, as a Gold CAPS Clubs, by the standards set within the Club and the breath of Netball opportunities provided for the local community with Harlow and it is fantastic that our judgement was endorsed by the National Panel in making you a national winner. I hope everyone in the Club is very proud of themselves, as it was a real team effort.
Congratulations to all at Crosskeys Netball Club, the East Netball family is very proud of you.
Kind regards
Paul

PROUD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
I have literally been bursting to share this news with you all and to say CONGRATULATIONS everyone.
A while back now I was told we had been short listed for The Outstanding Clubs award at The Goalden Globes – For those that don’t know its a bit like The Oscars for netball.
Today Pat and I surprised a few of our senior players at Hertford Sports Village! We were there to collect our award!! Not only had we been short listed but we had WON for the East Region!!!
Now we go up against the other regions to see if we can beat all of the other regional winners. WHAT a truly amazing honour for our club?
A massive THANK YOU to Sue Woodstock for putting together such an amazing nomination . Huge THANKS also to our wonderful coaching team, committee members, umpires, friends, supporters and players.
I am completely blown away!

Robyn has been a member of Crosskeys since Primary School. She was the first junior to play for a netball franchise squad, when she gained a place at Surrey Storm. She has had several serious injuries, one of which kept her out of netball for nearly a year. She kept fighting her way back to fitness and last year regained her place in the First Team. She shows great potential as a coach, and is keen to obtain her coaching award. She is held in high regard for her skills and dogged determination by her coach and peers.

Charlotte joined Crosskeys approximately 11years ago. She has become a very talented player, and has a regular place in one of our County League teams. In addition to her netball she has spent time working at a Homeless Shelter and serving meals in a Soup Kitchen. Last year, she went to America and volunteered at a Wildlife Centre, helping to nurse baby birds, snapping turtles and sunburnt crocodiles, back to good health. She has also been a County and Regional swimmer and a County Hockey player. She is now at University, but returns regularly to train and play matches.
