Congratulations from Paul Clark – Chair, Netball East
On behalf of the Netball East Regional Management Board I would just like to say `Congratulations` on winning the Outstanding Club category at the England Netball Goalden Globe Awards on Thursday, it was an exceptional achievement and a real tribute to the Clubs outstanding contribution to Netball in Essex over many years. I know the Regional Panel were very impressed, as a Gold CAPS Clubs, by the standards set within the Club and the breath of Netball opportunities provided for the local community with Harlow and it is fantastic that our judgement was endorsed by the National Panel in making you a national winner. I hope everyone in the Club is very proud of themselves, as it was a real team effort.
Congratulations to all at Crosskeys Netball Club, the East Netball family is very proud of you.
Kind regards
Paul

Regional Golden Globe Awarded to Crosskeys
PROUD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
I have literally been bursting to share this news with you all and to say CONGRATULATIONS everyone.
A while back now I was told we had been short listed for The Outstanding Clubs award at The Goalden Globes – For those that don’t know its a bit like The Oscars for netball.
Today Pat and I surprised a few of our senior players at Hertford Sports Village! We were there to collect our award!! Not only had we been short listed but we had WON for the East Region!!!
Now we go up against the other regions to see if we can beat all of the other regional winners. WHAT a truly amazing honour for our club?
A massive THANK YOU to Sue Woodstock for putting together such an amazing nomination . Huge THANKS also to our wonderful coaching team, committee members, umpires, friends, supporters and players.
I am completely blown away!

Katie Chimes: Jack Petchey Award Winner, October 2019
Katie has just started her third season with Crosskeys. She has steadily worked her way up through the Senior squads, and is now a regular player in the First Team.
She is a very enthusiastic, committed and determined player. She also helps to coach the younger players, both at school and within our club. She is working towards her umpiring award, helping out at matches whenever possible. Katie’s biggest achievement to date has been
in securing a place in Saracen Mavericks U17’s netball squad.

Beth Parker: Jack Petchey Award Winner, April 2019
Beth has been a member of Crosskeys for seven years. During that time she has developed her skills as a netball player dramatically, working hard in training, listening to her coaches and always adopting a great attitude.
Two seasons ago Beth trialled successfully to gain a place in the Essex Netball Pathway and is a regular in their squad on match play days. Her enthusiasm and dedication to our club is evident in the support she gives to other players in helping them to “fit in” and that she is always willing to help out at events and at training with younger players. In the future Beth intends gaining her umpiring and coaching qualifications, once her studies allow, so that she can continue to develop other areas of her netball.

Emma Wacey: Jack Petchey Award Winner, April 2017
Emma is the youngest member of a very talented netball family. Mum and two older sisters also play for Crosskeys. Emma has been with us since she was eight years old and has always shown what an excellent player she is. This season she has secured a place in our Herts 2 squad and has progressed enormously with her skills and knowledge. Also this season Emma has taken an “Into Officiating” course to enable her to umpire matches. Here too she is demonstrating good skills and is developing into a very good young umpire. Emma always works hard during training sessions, she is a quiet, friendly girl who is a definite asset to our club in every way.
