Hi, first of all i would like to thank everyone who has attended a training session since the begining of the season for doing so, you know who you are THANK YOU, however the training commitment on the whole has been poor, the last 3 weeks being 7,5 and 4 people, as a result of this I will no longer be taking the training on a Wednesday night, that is the training night if some of you didn’t know, mainly because I have to go to work after the session and that is really my sleeping time, otherwise I would carry on attending, with the few others that do bother.
However those of you who wish to carry on training or even start Marion has a group from 20.15 to 21.15 you are welcome to join in with them.
Changing the subject slightly, those of you who did chose to commit to playing on a Tuesday night please could you make every effort to do so for the remainder of the season, whist i appreciate something can not be avoided and you can’t get there as a one off that is fine, please do not think to yourself I won’t play this week they will find someone else because we can’t the play up list is becoming very limited making it difficult to cover.
On the 21st Dec the U12′s team and Coaches went to Van Hage’s for an ice skating experience.
We all met up and the kids went on the ice whilst the Mum’s and Coaches chatted over cups of tea.
The players had 45 minutes of fun and wetness on the ice and, as the session went along, daylight drifted away and a festive evening with Christmas lights evolved all around.
A good time was had by all and we all left rosy cheeked and smiling.
Katie is a hard working member of her squad. She is a
very talented player and shows great potential. She has a
bubbly personality and is always smiling. She attends
training regularly, travelling some distance to reach the
venue. She plays in the local Junior League and is almost
always available for any tournaments which we enter.
She is very welcoming to any new members.
Amber has been a member of Crosskeys for 5 years. She is fully committed to training & also to playing in League matches & Tournaments. She has a lovely manner & always looks smart& tidy when on court. She welcomes new members & helps them to settle in. She also wants to learn how to umpire & will take the whistle at training sessions.
